Been on quite an Indie-kick for a while going through games like Braid, Atom Zombie Smasher, LIMBO, Jamestown, The Binding of Isaac, and Trine. But really it doesn’t stop there…the list goes on. All of these games come with such unique gameplay, visuals, audio, and plot that make them so captivating and to simply put it, fun to play. A Walk In The Dark looks to be no different and, as Josh Harmon puts it, “might be the prettiest indie game you’ve never heard of.”

The gameplay from the trailer seems simple enough with nothing too out-of-the-ordinary as it looks to be another 2D side-scroller puzzle. It’s through the stunning use of colors and the musical composition that paints a beautiful environment in which I look forward to enjoying. Overall, here is just a shout out for an upcoming Indie game that looks and sounds absolutely fantastic all around. Let us not forget however that pretty music and visuals isn’t everything…I’d hate to go through another Dead Island incident.
